Fresno State will face Arizona in its final game of the Wildcat Classic tomorrow with a 2-0 record.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Bulldogs had a dominant start to the match as they took an early 10-4 lead, powered by kills from Addison Haluska and freshman Brooklyn Washington to spark an Alabama State timeout. Fresno State held firm coming out of the timeout and extended its lead to 17-8, forcing the Hornets to use their second timeout of the set. The second set was more closely contested, with the Hornets staying within four points of the Bulldogs throughout, without ever taking the lead. Haluska, Alivia Schneider and Jenna Legault each contributed three kills to keep the Bulldogs ahead in the set that had a 25-22 final score in favor of Fresno State.

Alabama State took its first lead of the day in the third and final set with a 7-0 scoring run that put the score at 15-11 going into the media timeout. The Bulldog offense was reignited after the break, led by Legault and Haluska, who pushed Fresno State ahead to a final score of 25-22 and 3-0 overall.
