COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Fresno State volleyball senior Addison Haluska has been named Mountain West Preseason Player of the Year, the conference announced Wednesday.
Last season, Haluska led the Bulldogs to a 16-14 overall record and a 12-6 mark in league play. The opposite hitter totaled 463 kills and finished the 2024 season with a .228 hitting percentage. She also recorded 219 digs, five solo blocks and 58 block assists. Haluska was the only Bulldog named to the Preseason All-Mountain West team.
Fresno State was picked to finish fourth in the 2025 MW Preseason Poll with 86 points, as voted on by the league's 12 head coaches. Utah State was selected as the preseason favorite with 114 points and seven first-place votes.
