Bulldogs battle to tiebreaker in NCAA Round of 32

ORLANDO, Fla. – Fresno State's Pang Jittakoat and Matilde Magrini made their NCAA Doubles Championship debut with a hard-fought 1-6, 6-7 (1-7) loss in the Round of 32 to Illinois' Katherine Duong and Megan Heuser on Tuesday at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla.

While the contest ends the duo's impressive 2023 season, Jittakoat and Magrini were ranked No. 48 nationally in the most recent ITA national doubles rankings and can build on this performance heading into next season.

They were the 10th doubles team in program history to qualify for the NCAA Doubles Tournament and the dynamic duo made the program's 15th all-time doubles appearance in the NCAA Championships after earning the Mountain West's automatic bid as the top-ranked doubles team in the conference.
